About
The Carrieton Hotel
The Carrieton Hotel was opened in 1879, one year after the township of Carrieton was named.
Carrieton's long history spans many industries, however nowadays its economy is primarily based on agriculture. The town's proximity to tourist drawcards and its location on RM Williams Way help the pub to attract diverse and interesting clientele.
Should you come and visit, you're likely to share the bar with farmers, miners, tourists, small business owners and anyone in between. It makes for great conversation and plenty of laughs.

The Carrieton Rodeo
Carrieton is also host to the hugely popular Carrieton Rodeo. The eventful night is part of the Australian Professional Rodeo circuit attracting competitors from interstate and overseas. Some of the spectacular events include; Stockman's Ride, Australian Stock Saddle, Bull Ride, Ladies Barrell Racing and the ever popular children’s events of Barrell racing and Breakaway Roping.
We are awaiting confirmed dates for the 2022 Carrieton Rodeo, and hope to have you join us!
